so this is love

We've been waiting for this one.
Since their engagement session last summer, Rebecca and I have been anticipating Ashley and Marks' wedding day.
Something about them, their connection, made us curious to know more of their story.
And after spending the day with their families - we are ever more affectionate of the two...

The morning began settling in to Ashley's family home, bustling with movement, children and a calm yet sure excitement.
The Smith home felt as it should be, full of the constant rhythm of family.
And the beauty of it was that if felt like every day is such as this.
Ashley's simple beauty was framed by her radiance this day.

Across the city, things were the same with Mark and his family in their home.
They prepared for the day with laughter, food and friends.
Nothing rushed, nothing nervous - just an assured energy that today was always going to be a part of their family history, and was now here.

At a beautiful church nestled deep in a pocket of the city, these two families were finally tied together.
With traditional words and candid moments, the ceremony unfolded.
As Ashley and Mark were married, faces held genuine smiles and the space radiated warmth.

The skies were good to us and lent a beautiful afternoon to spend in some of the city's best parts.
The wedding party made up of family was both lovely and fitting - as we created photos they were able to share and ensure their most important people did not miss a moment.
And there is no more perfect a back drop than parliament for the things you always want to remember...

Putting their sweet touch on elements of the reception, Ashley and Mark shared a beautiful dance they had learned, sat at a quaint table for two, and spent the evening celebrating and partying by each others' side.
In a room full of friendships, it was clear that the most important one had begun between them years ago, and still has so many wonderful places to go.

The world feels a little more right now that these two are husband and wife...
